The Excel spreadsheet linked below incorporates some of the rules of the sample contract. For example, income that is put into savings plans is tithed only when the money is taken out of the savings. Income tax and compulsory national insurance are deducted from income before the computation of maaser.
The spreadsheet is designed for a couple with education savings for four children, but these details can of course easily be adjusted for your particular situation. This example is intended only to explain how it's done and give you a head start in creating your own spreadsheet.
To get the spreadsheet, simply right click here and choose "save target as" to save it to your computer as shown in the image to the right. After saving the file, you may use it under Excel.
